UCAC Advisors work with liberal arts, non-degree, exploratory, and pre-health students to develop goals and an educational plan.
The University College Advising Center (UCAC) plays an essential role in shaping the early academic success of our students by easing the transition to UNM. The interaction between student and advisor begins during New Student Orientation and extends throughout the next 4 semesters. The advisors work with liberal arts, non-degree, exploratory, and pre-health students to develop goals and an educational plan.
Furthermore, UCAC promotes collaboration by working closely with health science entities, participating in campus wide initiatives, and programming that have a direct impact on student success and retention thus providing students with vast academic opportunities.
